I had it 116-112 to Anderson, Magee paid the price for a lack of workrate which was pretty much how we called it prior to the bout. Anderson was always landing the eye catching shots while Magee posed a bit too much, his mobility and stamina must be questioned, i don't think he can maintain a 12 round workrate anymore.

Saying that Anderson did well but i think after watching him versus Mutley, Nuumbembe and Magee i would categorise him as British/Commonwealth level operator i doubt he could move above those levels he has a few too many flaws.

I continue to be impressed with Anderson and his win over Magee was no exception.

Excellent tactics to employ against a spoiler like Magee. In and out, not allowing him to cling on and make a mess of things. Beautiful punch to drop Eamon in the 11th. Kevin seems to carry the power throughout the 12 rounds.

It's a hell of a tough schedule Anderson is on, but I'm pleased to hear Gilmour is hoping to reward him with an EBU crack. Anderson has gained a lot of experience whilst other prospects are often being fed soft touches, so don't rule out Kevin's chances of winning it.
