Favorite moments in Australian Boxing history....

mine would have to be Jeff Fenechs knockout of Victor Callejas, to become the first man to win titles in three weight division whilst still undefeated.

anyone else?

That was a good one. No tv for this fight so had to wait for the late news to come on to hear the result. The boxing hating newsreader made the announcement that Fenech had won by........TNO :-?

Jeff harding's incredible come from behind effort against Dennis Andries deserves a mention

As does ref Dave Ballard (former top flight 154 pounder from the late 60's / early 70's) for biffing a fighter after the guy let one go at him during a fight :D

Can't remember who was commentating. I was living in England at the time and the fight was in the US (early hours of the morning in England, Sunday afternoon local time.........did you follow all that? ) :D

Jeff Fenech belting Nelson for the world to see.

Jeff Harding KOing Andries to win world title in the last round.

Spike Cheney carried the hopes of the nation when he fought a Russian (i think) at an Olympics for a medal.

Anthony Mundine being KOed cold by Ottke a champion with absolutely no punching power at all.

Kostya KOing the favoured Zab Juda.

My favourite moment wasn't a great fight, but when Mundine beat Echols the pub I was in erupted into an impromtu singing of the national anthem it was a great moment

Loved KT's knockout of the mouth and Jeff Harding stopping Andries. Was also good to see Mundine beating up Danny Green, was great to watch that in Perth
