USA Vs England

Post by squarering »

I was at the USA VS England duel. with the first two bouts, Robert Mariquan and Qu'id Mohamad enilated thier opponents and stopped them early. I knew after that any England boxer finishing on thier feet would get the win. It was TOO important to that black tie crowd that England did well. Mike Hunter Got a terrible descision and beat his man coming and going. But that was thier crowd favorite. Mike would have had to stop him almost did.

This thread was resurrected from the dead. Why the long delay b/4 posting about the decisions? Hunter lost 2 bouts to Jonte Willis in the past 6 months. Willis was stopped at the Nat'l GG. I'm not sure if Hunter is the favorite going into the US Championships. He will have to beat Mike Wilson. Willis could be there too even though I think he should have received at least a 30 day suspension (if he didn't) for his loss at the Nat'l GG which would take him out of the US Championships.
