Green v Siaca Cancelled- Green now on 18 July

Post by GM #1 »

Siaca out injured. Just announced this fight off- spewing! Green said he will fight Perth 18 July vs TBA but will be world rated. Lets hope he doesn't get a Choc spastic- I am sure he won't he has too much class for that.

What do you think the chances of getting Glen "The Road Warrior" Johnson to come down to Aus are??? He just beat Montel Griffin in an IBF eliminator, so it probably won't happen but it would be a good fight!!!

What is likely to happen now? I just had a look at the IBO rankings and there isn't anyone who jumps out at me as a possible opponent...

Plenty of possible opponents but lets just hope he doesn't do a Choc and fight a joke of an opponent?!

Damn, that is really bad news for me the viewer and for Green himself. I believe Green would have beaten Siaca by KO, and it will be hard for him to get another opponent of this calibre.

Like Green has said, he only has 2-3 more years in the sport, and he would like for all his fights from now on to be meaningful. I personally would love to see Green win a legitimate world title.

Russian-born Victor Oganov has offered to step in and replace the injured Manny Siaca as Danny Green's next opponent.Stuart Duncan, the manager of world-ranked super middleweight and light heavyweight Oganov who has won all 30 of his professional bouts by KO, said his fighter would fill the vacancy free of charge

:o Interesting. I would say he is offering this because he knows it won't happen. What would a loss to Green do to his IBO SM title shot???

Fenech should give up the dream. He ditched Green and is now trying to chase his tale through Oganov.

It would be a good fight! And a win for danny green he would just outclass Oganov. Victor would only have a punchers chance :box: and I don't think that would be enough.

Green definitely has better whiskers than anyone Victor has fought to date... oh and better skill... oh and better power... oh... I think you get the picture...

Don't take this the wrong way. I am actually a big fan of Oganov. :TU:

I would love to see this fight to. I like Organov and Green, but as the fight goes Danny would beat him. But as the fights concerned it won't happen because of the crap Fennech is spouting. He does the same thing he did with Green and Mundine, he was good as a boxer but he should never have been a trainer or promoter or manager.Siacca and Green would have been better i think Siacca would have had a good chance to beat Green.
