If a jr fighter has lets say 50 fights and enters the mens division when hes 17 does he have to go straight to the open division or can he fight in the novice division for a couple of fights?

As soon as a junior boxer has more than 10 bouts, they MUST go straight to the open division when they become a senior class boxer (17 or 16 if they turn 17 on or before August 1st of that calendar year).
