Does anyone know what's happened to Wayne since that TKO loss? Has he retired....?

I'm not disputing he may have made the initial approach, but for all we know his head could be all over the place. Who knows? Just trying to rationalise it. Boxers can behave erratically after a bad knockout. Look at Audley Harrison. He turned down offers from FW to fight on undercards because he said he was "ready, willing and able" to step back into championship class, then was offered Skelton when Sprott got injured, and turned it down.

He was due to appear in the USA-UK Contender at the Metro Arena, he pulled out about 2 weeks before it was due to happen.....I had heard that he got a bit of a working over in sparring and basically walked out of training and then claimed a injury to why he could not fight, I don't think his heart is in it anymore.

I find Alexanders career extremely disapointing really, its hard to know where its all gone wrong... perhaps the Simon defeat put him off the rails, ...but really theres been far too much inactivity and when he has fought its been too often against journeymen that have meant nothing, ...now you'd have to say that his chance has gone and he's unlikely to ever reach his full potential... I think he could have been a decent British champ at least... its a shame to see a talented and exciting fighter simply drift through his career...
