Unofficially retired. He's never fighting again. Shame how his career petered out, but losing on points to Marco Antonio Barrera and then winning his last fight against Manuel Calvo is not a bad note to bow out on. And, of course, he's got all his faculties, and all his dosh.

He told allegedly he would be back in September and now Frank has asked him to retire, i will never forget the night MAB outclassed him, sandwiched in the middle of a pub full of Boxing know nothings predicting ridiculous KO's for the Prince some even citing a possible first round KO! My lone voice of experience tipped Barrera to control his aggression and show the Prince up as a man dependant on power alone, i was indeed proved correct and the guy who had offered me a £50 bet to prove my loyalty to MAB had slipped quietly out the back door

I used to idolise Hamed but now I look upon him with utter contempt. He has shown himself to be a liar, lacking in respect and a person who bailed out when self doubt started to creep in.

Agreed completely - coming from Sheffield sooty it must be hard for you to say that.

But I'm afraid so, when I think off all the great fighters struggling to make ends meat and a big fraud like Hamed with all his mansions etc it makes my very upset.
