stopped him in 9. always liked dean's style of fighting. he would've held a super middle world title at least briefly were it not for the right shoulder injury. he's having a real good comeback at light heavy & i hope it culminates in a cracking fight with someone like froch.

I liked Francis too, he did a far better job on (an albeit younger) Dave Starie than Calzaghe did.

good idea. woods really only has british appeal. as a plucky honest guy who made something of himself. i think his fight with johnson (3rd) went down very well as he showed a lot in that fight.

francis has a world class left jab/hook. surprised sky haven't got on the francis bandwagon. he blew out orvill for the commonwealth in his last fight. that was a very sky kind of fight, if you know what i mean.

Considering that was the only fight on the bill, it would have been difficult to fill a two-hour slot with a aone-round knockout!

But I know what you mean. Francis would be good TV.

I don't know. I'm sure Johnny, Glen and Nicky could waffle for that amount of time. Throw in Colin Hart and you'd have no end of fun.

Next planned outing for Francis is September, in a commonwealth title defense
