Great stuff from the English-language Korea Times, well worth a read. Chi really sounds like a good guy, and I hope he can help spark a boxing revival in Korea.
I told a bunch of local reporters after the fight that I thought I'd won, but I'm not really satisfied with my performance. I didn't dominate every round. And considering I was fighting away from home, I should have been better than that.
Thinking back, I was a bit too tense in the opening rounds and failed to pace myself and worked too hard. This went on for a while even after I floored him in the second round. That tired me earlier than I expected, and allowed Brodie to fight back in the middle rounds.
I managed to get things together for the closing rounds. We were toe-to-toe in the end. I might have dominated, but it's also true I didn't comfortably outfight Brodie.
The Koreans are not known for their sportsmanship. but Chi is a world class fighter and seems like a class guy, too. I would love to see him over here again against Brodie. I don't think the MEN Arena would have any empty seats next time.

True Bennie, after all the massive build up i was surprised at the empty seats and the rather subdued atmosphere before and during the fight. Chi showed an honest and sincere view of the fight and i commend him, i think some of our overblown egotistical American fighting friends could learn a thing or two from his sportsmanship.
Nice to see such sportsmanship from Chi.... both he and Brodie are a credit to boxing. Can't say the same about the WBC or that berk of a referee. I thought Chi had done enougth to win an excellent fight but all in all a draw is not a bad result. Hopefully a rematch will be made and both men will earn handily from it.
I'm very impressed with Chi, after seeing him against Morales and Brodie I'd say that he's one of the most determined and durable fighters out there at the moment. Pretty exciting too.
