The 2007 Ringside Tournament is going to be held from July 31 to August 4, 2007 in Kansas City, Missouri. It is being held in the KCI Expo Center just like last year.

Ringside is NOT being considered for an Olympic qualifier. Wonder who started that rumor.....Under-19 is cancelled for this year.

First of all, the Ringside tournament is not a USA Boxing national ranking tournament. It is an annual invitational put on by the Ringside company. It is not a group member like PAL and Golden Gloves. This year the Ringside tournament will probably be a week or two prior to the Olympic Box-offs (Trials) and it's possible that's what caused the confusion. The 8 boxers in each weight class have already been determined; the qualifying for the Box-offs is already done.

Mel - I have not seen anything that says it is cancelled. How do you know?

Last year USAB had A2P - this year they have nothing. If you're still in CS, Dennis, you could ask Chris Cuddy......

He was one of the USAB people to tell me that it was cancelled.
