It ain't his fault, allegedly probably hasn't got the links anymore since Don King fucked him up.

Warren severed his own links with the WBC, but has the WBU and WBO to use as world title backers, though they have zero respect in the States (and I mean 'zero'). Witter must be close to some sort of big fight, but he's hanging around for a payday with Hatton and seems to be getting nowhere in that regard. For holders of British and Commonwealth titles in the past, the next logical step was always the European title. That seems to have gone by the board, thanks - or should I say no thanks - to the WBO and the WBU, who will gladly embrace a fighter who would probably struggle to win a rematch with Lincoln's Lee Swaby (big Enzo) as 'world' champion. But Eamonn Magee travelled to Germany for a European title shot and came away with a lot of credit. Witter could have done the same, and could now be in a much better position to secure a crack at Hatton (or the true champs). I would actually fancy Witter to beat Urkal.

Yeah if Witter could catch Urkal out of Germany -where he can run around like a marathon runner for 12 rounds and win a decision- then he can beat him. Urkal has talent but i think Junior is also skilled enough to fancy the job, he needs to stop chasing the Hatton fight as it aint gonna happen any time soon, i think Witter-Magee or even Witter-Krivolopav must happen soon to see if he can still hack it at a decent level. It's sad that the Judah fight seems to have tainted him for life particuarly as far as his big fight aspirations go.

Urkal's the man to aim for I think. I don't think he could outbox Witter, I don't think anyone could for that matter, he's such an awkward fornicator, more awkward than Hamed even (not suggesting he has that kind of punch of course). Pinto on the other hand seems a bit of a danger judging by his ko record, higher risk and for less reward IMO, a genuine European championship is far more valuable than a bit of leather with a plate glued to it, vacated by a guy who got knocked out in two rounds by the champ, at least to my mind.
All conjecture of course, no doubt he's fighting a stiff in december again since Warren alienates opponents by offering them peanuts.

Witter has almost gone off the Radar, and deservedly so.
Other than shooting his mouth off, what is Witter doing to keep people talking about him? nothing IMO.
Now Hatton is genuinely moving on to a higher level, Witter has been left in the cold at a domestic level.
He's been talking the talk for so long....time for some walking I think.

Does anybody know when Witter signed up with Warren?
