Arthur vs Mitchell before the years end?

I notice that Kevin Mitchell is fighting for the WBO Intercontinental Super Feather title in his next fight. Alex Arthur is fighting for the WBO title in his next fight.

So would imagine, if both are successful then Mitchell vs Arthur will naturally occur very soon.

Mitchell's opponent is Alexander Hrulev, doesn't seem like too bad an operator, generally a padded record but has scored a draw with an outweighed, but still usefull Mauricio Pastrana.

Having said that the draw did take place in Kazakhstan.

Sounds about right for SN - Mitchell isn't ready for Arthur though, despite amassing a pretty impressive record, he hasn't actually fought anyone of note.

Not even anyone at British level.

Both Hrulev and the WBO Int strap were lined up for Arthur in March as a water treader before Arthur got injured. Clearly Frank paid good money for the two, and doesn't want them to go to waste.

Personally I don't see Mitchell being the sacraficial lamb just yet. Only 22, and as T Toes says (quite ridiculous after 20-odd fights) he needs more (ie. better) experience. Maybe the British title soon if Johanneson vacates (can't see Frank putting Mitchell in with him.)

Plenty options yet for Arthur assuming he gets past the Georgian. You can always rely on the WBO #15 special, currently Benin's finest, Anges Adjaho, who holds an impressive MD over Vargas! Edgar Fabian Vargas, of course http://www.boxrec.com/boxer_display.php?boxer_id=155986

Or Frank could give Johanneson a shot at Arthur, freeing up a title or two for Mitchell.

Longer term, maybe Diaz will vacate the WBO 135 title, Frank puts Arthur and maybe Khan in for it, and Mitchell is given the WBO sf title.

You would think Arthur-Mitchell is on the horizon due to these WBO shenanigans, also Frank said recently he wanted to bring on some all British clashes. Can't see Mitchell being a sacrifical lamb for Arthur in the fledgling stages of his career, in fact quite the opposite i would see the seasoned Arthur being seen as the sacrifice for Mitchell. But that wouldn't make sense as i think if they met anytime soon Arthur would win handily.
