McCullogh off Dunne Bill

Seems just to be due to uncertainty over opponent and not an end to the comeback according to RTE. Leaves the undercard (of a poor main bill) looking scant at best. I'd love to see Dunne fight, great atmosphere at the last two, but I for one wouldn't pay €60 for the nosebleed seats that night

Its crazy isnt it? A moribund, virtually non-existant pro scene in Southern Ireland for so many years and finally now that Dunne-fever has taken within the capital, the fans are being fleeced for the hottest ticket in town.

Brian Peters has done a great job reviving a dead scene but I would like to see more value for the punters: this card in particular is wafer-thin.

Think with the currently evolving socio-economic scene of the ROI they've a good chance of selling those tickets.

No doubt about it and Dunne is a very popular sportsman over there - its good to see the pro boxing scene back on its feet, hopefully this will spur on more to get involved.

I almost bought a ticket but after seeing where even a 130 euro ticket sat me, I decided to pass. Now I'm glad I did with McCullough off the bill.

I shudder to think what they'll charge when Dunne and Duddy headline together later in the year, possibly with McCullough on the undercard then.

I was thinking of going down but i'm glad i didn't, it is expensive to say the least and Dunne will probably dispose of Walstad in quick time anyway.
