Some say that Rocky Marciano had the best uppercut of all time.

I pick Mike Tyson as the guy with the best uppercut.

As a single shot Lennox Lewis must be close to winning this one. Jack Johnson would also have to be in the top 3-4, maybe even the best. When Tyson put in an uppercut at the end of his combinations they were absolutely deadly.

Outside of the Heavies Azumah Nelson had a great uppercut. Duran was good with it inside.

Peak Tyson did more damage punching up than any other HW in history. Good thing was, it didn't matter if it was a left/right uppercut, both were just as effective.

That combo Tyson used to do, a right to the body, then straight up the middle with a right uppercut was a thing of beauty. Demonstrated well in the first Bruno fight. Finishing combination if I remeber rightly?

Earnie gets my vote, at least among the heavies. His 1st round kos of Ken Norton and Jimmy Ellis were highlight material. Kid Gavilan for the little guys.

razor ruddock, the way he leaned when he threw it was amazing. a hybrid hook-uppercut and it was about the only punch he had. he put several out cold with it
