The ATG Light-Heavyweight Tournament
Four matches per 'round'. These are all hypothetical matches, no computer usage unless BoxBuzz wants to do that for shits and giggles. These are 20 names rounded up, some you may know, some are old school and some are new, some you might not know.
This will all go very much like the tournament Jezzamundo is doing, with a group rating A-F, A of course being the top of the class and F being the absoloute worse of the ATG's [the 'A' group will just be the top ranked man in the tournament, the other groups will be more than one].
First four matches:
Archie Moore vs Harold Johnson
Tommy Loughran vs John Henry Lewis
Mike McTigue vs Joey Maxim
George Carpentier vs Maxie Rosenbloom
Votes will be tallied on the next Sunday. 8)

Very interesting pick with the Moore fight Decagon...can I ask why you chose Moore to kayo Johnson? I think Johnson, personally, had just as good a success against HW's as Moore did, so I think he could have taken Moore's shots.
Plus, the two men fought eachother 4 or 5 times, and all but one went the distance.
Johnson was a good fighter, won decisions over Ezzard Charles and beat men like Satterfield, Bivins, Gudoy, Valdes, Slade, Whitehurst...I mean the list goes on and on.

Lol, I suspect u been drinking again Decagon...but am sure u have ur reasons
My picks?
Archie Moore wins via split decision over Harold Johnson
Tommy Loughran wins via a close, but unaminous decision over John Henry Lewis
Joey Maxim wins via a close, boring, but unaminous decision over Mike McTigue
Maxie Rosenbloom wins via unaminous decision over the french war hero George Carpentier in the most exciting bout of the three previous ones held, slapping 'The Human Orchid' silly for 15 rounds, though he himself was dropped late in the fight.

Archie Moore KO 11 Harold Johnson--- Moore was a special kind of puncher, he could hit you with every punch from every corner
Tommy Loughran UD John Henry Lewis--- Loughran was one of the best pure boxers ever, IMO a bit too much for the tough Lewi
Joey Maxim UD Mike McTigue--- although a bit unknown, underrated and almost forgotten today, Maxim would be too much with his tricky style for the Irish man
Georges Carpentier UD 15 Maxie Rosenbloom--- As a LHW, Georges was really a beast, Rosenbloom was a great boxer with great skills, but the French wouldn´t have respected his "power", he would all night throw punch after punch
Tommy Loughran UD John Henry Lewis--- Loughran was one of the best pure boxers ever, IMO a bit too much for the tough Lewi
