Any New News On Castillo's Weight?

Post by Coco »

Is he still struggling?

Or is the whole thing a red herring?

Who knows?

What I find annoying is that it seems a lot of the people who start these rumours, have their won agenda, trying to un-settle Castillo it seems.

We all hope Castillo makes weight, because if he doesn't, Hatton has stated they'll be no bout. He won't go through with as Corrales did in the rematch with Castillo.

I reckon Castillo will make weight, but it'll be interesting to see what both guys weigh when they enter the ring?

Castillo has become a bit of an unreliable fighter when it comes to weight issues. This seems to have been a bit of a red herring though if the Beeb have him on the button.

not really a red herring, being 3 lbs over the fighting weight 30 hours before the weigh in is not too bad really...

absolutely. it is the norm. arum said on weds or thurs that he was 143 and that when he dries out - he makes the weight. and he did.

What an awful undercard

I suppose there is some interest for the large British traveling support.

If the main fight got stopped early on cuts or something, it will go down as one of the worst shows in HBO history!

Yep, allegedly must be laughing after what people have said about his cards - Its like the lottery one big prize and crumbs for the rest - Take away the main event and you are left with a pretty below average lineup that you couldnt sell enough tickets for to make it worthwhile and certainly not in Vegas - Lets hope Ricky delivers in a spectacular way or many will feel ripped off - Cant see it happening but a stoppage in 7/8 would be great as long as its in Rickys favour.
