He'll pick up a repetitive strain injury after typing on boxing forums about how much he is looking forward to this, his first fight.

It's only a joke Martin, but good luck with the fight if it happens :box:

Wasn't he posing for a photo looking a few pounds north of his weight class in New Zealand last time we caught up with him?

Well, MTG is fast becoming a bit of a legend among boxings internet community. While the rest of us sit behind computers wittering on about the sport we love, MTG has got off his computer chair, gone to the gym and trained. As a result he is making a fairly long and very determined journey into the ring culminating in his forthcoming debut match.

I've enjoyed the journey very much and think it's about time we looked into a ring name for him. I'll kick it off with;

MTG is definately a legend... although he claims (sorry to sound so scepticle but its odd that no one has validated that he even exists) he has an extensive amateur record before forum life. So its not quite how it sounded from your descprition.. which too me reads like he started posting first and then headed to the gym. He real is just like a Tony Dodson or Jamie Moore, nothing more... just awaiting his pro debut.

Sorry for the negative sounding post, hope this time it happens.

Martin "The Keyboard Warrior" Gillick.
