Post by DavidPayne »

...on the current path were Rees to perform 75 divisions above previous form and beat M'Baye.....

All this talk of Warren and Hatton getting into bed for one bout in a homecoming bout.....

Can you imagine HBO's reaction if Rees somehow wins that fight in July?

A very protected guy who has won all his fights against losers - Its a joke, but he is trained by Enzo Calzaghe, probably the countrys best trainer so he could be better than his record suggests - He has also knocked out 13 from 26 fights, in other words half his opponents - Perhaps Warren and Enzo know something we dont because to me it looks very one sided.

But if Enzo Cal was the best trainer surely he would have taught his son correct punching and defense? From what I hear he made his son train a lot for fitness and handspeed which have made him a success but how much is it to do with knowing what works for a talented son and how much is to do with him being a technical mastrmind??

To his credit Enzo Macca is looking more polished though.

Joes hands have been a problem for a long time but have just got worse so his punch power these days is lacking compared with the past - Joes lack of defense at times has to do with his personality - He has bags of confidence and just like Hatton goes for it taking some to land plenty - Hatton doesnt please Billy Graham and Calzaghe doesnt please his Father by going "off route" but both do it and get a bollocking between rounds.
