big KO in vegas

Post by oioitaxi »

was lucky enough to attend the hatton show in vegas at the weekend and was surprised that setanta did not catch the fight of the night on their broadcast culminating in one of the most pleasing KO's i have ever seen at a live boxing show.

it was a swift KO to the chin delivered with great velocity, i do not know the names of the fighters but one of them was a ringside security guard stopping people from entering the ring and another was a bald ugly guy who i think represents fight academy.

it was a stunning blow and the bald gentleman was spreadeagled on the floor for a reasonable period of time, his free press credential was fluttering gently in the breeze.

i was told by other fight fans that it could not have happened to a nicer person, its a shame really but if you are getting too big for your boots and try to push past big guys who are there to stop you getting in the ring then......bingo, you get what you deserve, and in this case it was a big right hander.

the bald chap was last seen being tendered to by a first aid person, and the security gard was last seen signing programmes and getting pats on the back from british fight fans with a knowledge of internet boxing forums.

for mash get smashed !!!!!!!!!!

Select Media Player instead, you'll have that as standard.

But I agree it should be put on You Tube.

Spud always wanted attention, let's give him as much as possible now he's actually earned it!

I'm in the minority on here by being one of the people who doesn't mind Spud (reminds me abit of Charley off BIG Brother), but I must admit to a wry smile.

I can't view the footage as I'm at work, is the original post on this thread accurate???

You can't see the KO punch connect, but about a minute into the video, a big, lopsided bald head swaggers into view to the side of Ricky, then gets sent flying backwards and out of view with great velocity, followed by an extended right arm from a charging security guard who may or may not be Paul King.

You know what the funny thing is that Spud is bound to have slagged King off on the net somewhere for his lack of speed, ambition and punching power.
Thinking about it i wonder if that has a little more to do with it

So did the security guard throw a punch following the shove. What the hell is spud doing steaming over when ricky is in the middle of an interview anyway? Very unproffessional considering he's there on "work" . mind you,. for the whole interview you can see Ricky looking to his left every ten or so seconds.

Wasn't a shove; looked for all the world like a punch, although it's not entirely clear on the vid. The author of this thread claims to have seen it and says it was a punch. I hope it's true, anyway!

Paul works security for Fight Academy. Then if a heavyweight bout falls through, he gets changed.
