What about the O2 show in 2 weeks. Cookie, Amir, Skelton v Sprott, Pryce v Small, Mike Jennings, the Mitchells.

Should be a good one.

If Calzaghe vs Kessler will get a date this fall I think it would be a good idea to a meet, Ill probably take my first trip to Britain (Heathrow excluded) if it happens.

What do you fellas reckon, and who wants in?
Hi there gents,

Mikee my old son, Epping is my home town and I only moved a few miles from it, so if you should pick that area you can count me in for a sherbert or two. I also like the idea of it being a general meet-up instead of an actual boxing card...... coz you either end up talking while missing the fights, or watching the fights and not getting to meet new folks properly.

best wishes - and let me know.

Yeah, that's a good idea, I'm in touch with Charlie anyway, could tell him a few of us are coming down, and see if he's got any events on.

Ok, I'll get on to Charlie tonight and see what events he has coming up. I know he was talking about a royal oak reunion.

It's in Mile End, that's hardly the arse end of nowhere mate! No way would that have been 15 quid to town.

That's why I was suggesting going there when there's a boxing do on.

No worries though, if people just want to have a general get together, we could just meet around tottenham court road.

What about point 101, if it's a nice evening you can sit outside. It's nowt special mind.

Terrence, if you need somewhere to crash for the evening mate, I'll put you up, presuming of course you don't turn out to be a complete twat, in which case the offer is off mate. :TU:

aaah the box rec meet up virgin.

here is how it will pan out, 25 people will say they will come, half of thoise will drop out and post that they cant make it, another half of the remainder will drop out on the day and the remaining 5 people meet up get pissed and leave at 11 leaving me and Jimmy to go and get totally spandaxed.

BE HAPPY TO BE PROVED WRONG! but if the other meet ups are anyhting to go by this is what will happen. In fact the first one I think there was only me and Jim Mc who turned up. 2nd time KO artist, Knockout, Ricky B, Bubi, that was it, so excuse my natural retiscence its down to past experience.

Kilburn & i were there too. If you're talking about the one at The Ring pub. We may have been on the darkside of Bubi and not seen though. Where/how is he by the way?

It all depends on the date whether i'll be there & the fact that Magri's pub is a bit of a pain in the arse to get to.

Terry's good mates with Charlie as it happens. If you watch the video of that crappy phil and grant brothers tune it's done at the Victoria Pub....

:TU:

So anyway lads, have we decided on a venue, do we want a boxing venue, or just somewhere we can get pissed up?

Dare I suggest we all pile down the 02 arena next weekend, it's kind of central, innit? The tickets might be going cheap an' all.

Yeah, if Charlie's pub is aggro for people, then let's go somewhere central.

The ring pub is ok I suppose, but there's not that much point going there just for a few boxing photographs, there's so many better boozers.
