I dunno, I think the ref was right to let the fight go on..

Nwodo was obviously tired and getting on his bike to run down the clock but he was throwing back punches right up to the sudden ending.

It was a one shot cold KO, not a cumulative effect.

the guy obviously wasn't really inteligently defending himself would have stoped it a little earlier he turned his back on a couple of occasions as well which really shouldn't be happening in the rign.

Anyone remember how much greaf terry o'conner (I think) got for calling a stoppage in Audley Harrison vs Tomaz Bonnin because Bonnin turned away.. I still think he was probably wright because when a fighter turns his back I don't think he is defending himself effectivly.

I remember a Spadafora fioght where he turned his back and effectively ran away in the late rounds of a points win for him in Pittsburgh.

I always thought that the ref should have taken points or threatened disqualification for such actions..

Wilson is certainly the dangerman of the division, he can punch and has got a good chin as well, I can't see any of the Champions being in a rush to fight him. He may have to get himself into a mandatory position to force the fight.

A few years ago who would have thought that the Cruiserweight division would be one of the most exciting ones. With punchers like Wilson, O'Neil Bell, Haye and Maccarinelli. Also a tough Champion at NO1 in Mormeck.
Add to that other contenders such as Huck, Cunningham, Wlodarczyk.
Its the division to watch at the moment, no more fat light heavys looking for a couple more paydays.

He only lost on points, stopped Brown and Davis in two previous fights. Looks a handful.

Haye and Macca will stay well away from him as he has a granite chin and can punch like a horse

I read that he had problems with his adrenal glands and this led to those flst performances in 2006. Since he's had the problem fixed he's come back into form.

Matt Godfrey has impressed me in the few fights of his I've managed to catch. He, too, can certainly pack a punch.
