Eastman pulls out, a novice steps in

Post by bennie »

Carl Froch is to top the bill as a replacement to the Howard Eastman-Jorge Sendra fight in Derby later this month which has been cancelled (Eastman probably heard that Sendra could fight a bit, though he's claimed a damaged knee). No opponent for Froch as yet.
Also on the bill, Ryan Rhodes fights Peter Jackson for the English middleweight title and Damon Hague fights Roddy Doran in something called a WBF super-middleweight title eliminator.

Any chance of it being Froch vs Sendra?

Perhaps a step to far at the stage, but an interesting contest nevertheless.

Yeah, won't be going out of my way to see this show. Froch's main event opponent will be interesting once they find one. Can't see them picking anyone too ambitious, but I have a feeling I'll still be disappointed.
