Glad its in France as opposed to the USA. Haye might need a KO to win - but he would probably need that anyway. At least Haye doesn't have to worry about time zone differences and climate differences.

Excellent News!! This fight is right up there with Hatton-Tszyu IMO

Fair play to Haye for being willing to travel, there are plenty who wouldn't have. He seems to be happy with his wage as well. JMM is in for one hell of a beating and there's nothing better than beating the French.

I've not seen Mormeck fight, but I've heard he's a real tough nut, so he might make it passed the 2nd

I presume this will be on Sky, but I wonder if ITV (or possibly Setanta) will be tempted into a bid now that SN's conract's up.

Mormeck quickly followed by Enzo (providing he gets past Braithwaite) then 'The Gifted One' can unleash the Hayemakers on the heavies

Let's go David! Whether you're a Haye fan or not (I am), Haye cannot be denied the respect one should receive for going on foreign soil to fight.

Is anyone else concerned about David's struggle to get down to 14st 4lbs? I hope he doesn't have too much a battle in that department, although I am not too hopeful of that being the case.

Haye had real power, whether he's boxing at Cruiser or HW. I'm backing Haye to beat Mormeck in impressive fashion. I predict the bout with not last as long as some people may think. For me, I think Haye will win by KO early. Haye has great self-belief in his abilities. He's probably also improving as a boxer too.

If David does indeed win, briniging the title back to England, wonder what allegedly Warren will come out with?

Get in there Hayemaker. This is doing things the right way. Gunning for The Man, away from home.

I worry about the weight, but surely he can get down to 200 once more and put in a big performance. Haye won't be as strong as he'd like - having seen something of his potential as a heavweight - but Mormeck could be for the taking.

Ideally he will bang Mormeck out then face Enzo...though we all know this is highly unlikely.

David will surely go up to HEavyweight after this...

Things are looking good for British boxing at the moment aren't they?

In at least this sense.

By the end of the year, Witter, Woods, Cook, could well all be belt holders.

Calzaghe, Hatton and Haye could all be considered 'the man' at their weight, with two of them also being surely top 10 P4P, and both destined for the hall of fame also.

Not a bad sitaution if you ask me. Despite the problems faced by boxing in this country, having a roster like that is pretty impressive for a small nation if you ask me.

Great news and a terrific matchup.

But what do people make of Haye's comments awhile back, that he'll only be a 70% if he has to boil down to cruiser again, but that's all he needs to beat the Frenchman.

Sounds like he's banking it all on a three round blitz, which seems a bit of a half baked game plan.

I agree, but think Cook has the harder fight than Arthur. Lueveno is very decent - so is Gogoladze - but I think Lueveno is better.

Lets hope Enzo Mac is ringside also. These two simply have to fight... Now that this match is one, I want Enzo vs Haye straight after whether it is Cruiser or Heavyweight - its needs to be sorted.

Win, lose or draw... Haye and Enzo must fight after this one.... although it would look a bit stupid Enzo calling out the loser (should Haye lose).

Not sure about Arthur myself. Now that Guzman's staying at super feathe,r the WBO belt isn't vacant, so AA's only getting half of a belt really.

Cook seems to be in an easy-ish division. Only one elite level fighter there, Chris John. If Cook beats Luevano (no certainty), I'd like to see him take on WBC holder Injin Chi - maybe we could have a 'replay' of Chi-Brodie 1, but this time with Chi fading a bit and a bald headed British body puncher in his prime & strong at the weight...
