I was starting to wonder, i was sure that ITV would stick it to Frank to let him know who was in charge but they're hurting themselves by not wrapping this up if they still can't advertise this yet. There was still nothing on http://www.itv-boxing.com this morning.

I'm getting concerned about this bill. There is rumours about this show - sales, lack of advertising, that if true is very concerning. Do I hear some of the fighters having "stomach upsets" or "flus" before next week?

On a brighter note there are a few adverts for the Cardiff bill on Real Radio (Wales).

So according to that guide it's 8pm - 9pm on ITV4, then 9:10pm - 11:10pm on ITV1, then back to ITV4 from 11:15pm to midnight.

That should just about cover it. :TU:

Lets hope ITV/FW do a better job this time. Towards the end of the last contract... ITV wouldn't even bother putting up a graphic to see who is fighting.

Lets hope the old music is back, I would youtube a link, but it looks like I have been beaten too it by Mr Warren. Absolutely rediculous.

just type ITV boxing theme in the youtube search engine and click to the one that features Naz and you'll see what I mean.

I used to love the old graphic of the globe fitting in the O of World championship boxing... this was done in the mid/late 80's. Really used to get the butterflies going when it came on. Dated? Pehaps, but new introduction is just so borrowing and uninspiring.

It seems that Duke is back, Christ he must be well in with someone.

I'd rather wait and see what the feedback is like for the venue/seats etc. Last time I went to the Excel I saw absolutely fack all for my £80 (me and the Mrs).

Judging by the pics form the opening night concert, it seems to be tiered seating, so the view should be fine.

definitely. it used to really get me pumped up.

Boxing programs used to have something exciting about them. I love the intros for those Boxing Superbouts that used to be on Sky, when they used to show '70s and '80s classics (Conteh, Minter, Finnegan).

Nowadays everything's all slicker and emptier.

I like this - a Commodore 64 'version' of the ITV boxing theme!

NO-ONE has bought a ticket baldy. In fact you've set a 18,000 seater set-up for 10,000 and with a week to go you've sold just over 6,000. Pathetic considering almost every single Sports Network fighters not named Joke Calzslappy is on the card. But then again you've ass-raped the ticket buyer so often serves you right.

As TerribleTerry says, Sports Network cannot be trusted to deliver what it says on the ticket or poster. You get more pull-outs than a Catholic gangbang and I, for one, will never pay to get into a Fwank show again!

And - by the way - great job you've done on Amir. You'd done a Simon Cowell in reverse - taking a super-star and turned him into a no-one. Two years a pro and he sells less tickets now than when he started. No wonder he's had talks with Dennis Hobson.

That's a bit of a poor response. It's rather more expensive to actually go isn't it though? Surely we pay our license fee for the priviledge of being able to watch sports on TV at home?

Hey, desperate times call for desperate measures! NEWS FLASH - there's a huge run on o2 tickets. They've sold an extra 4 seats over the weekend!!!!

Meanwhile, the UFC has sold over 11,000 for a show that don't happen for TWO MONTHS. Please God let's hope Ricky Hatton fights in the UK next because without him the UFC gooks who say boxing is dead will be proved right before Xmas!!!
