It went the distance just waiting for the scorecards, Mickey Vann is one of the judges. Baysangurov won for my money although he was a bit over eager to finish things at the end, for a 22 year old in his 16th contest he looked a very good prospect. When he swung wildly for the big stoppage he looked wide open but when he tucked up and threw those short snappy hooks inside he looked good.

This was probably the best fight for him at this stage of his career, Bayram was strong and experienced and the 12 rounds will have done him no harm! Baysangurov needs to stop the dirty antics though he could have got thrown out for some of his indiscretions.

Anyway we await the scores.....

Baysangurov get's it. It was close i think all three cards went 115-113? According to the commentator anyway. The Ukranian was a worthy winner.

Sidenote: The officials were so desperate to get the main event on they were rolling up the canvas behind the fighters as the announcements of the scores were being read out.

Klitschko-Brewster next, i'm off for a cup of tea. Hope my round by round is doing the job :TU:

Brewster just came out, even the choice of music was re-iterating the fact this is his big last chance. The crowd gave him respect. Klitschko coming out now to fireworks and a roof raising reception. Hope the fight lives up to the introductions!

I'm going for Klitschko TKO8 Brewster we shall wait and see.

Some stick thin hussy is warbling the american national anthem now. Klitschko looked focused walking in, the Germans are booing the anthem which surprises me.

Thanks for the RBR Steve on Baysangurov. Some Europeans are saying he's one of the best prospects around, but it sounds like he has some work to do yet. Also, for the record, he's Chechen and not Ukrainian.

Round 1 and wlad won in well, he was landing the big jabs and some good right hands, brewster started fast but looks so much smaller. he was wobbled i think from a left and backed onto the ropes, wlad in control i dont think it is going to last too long!

Brewster is no way 6 ft 1. And he's crouching as he fires jabs to the body as well which makes him an even smaller target. Klitschko was leaving his left hand out there after jabbing and keeping it far too low for my liking in the first round

Round 2 and its all about wlads jab for me, brewster cannot get inside and when he does wlad ties up and leans on to sap strength. steward said it wont go 4 rounds if wlad carries on likes this, mcgirt is imploring brewster to move to the right to negate the straight right and to work the body.

wlad 10-9h

Round 3 and wlad is dominating with the left jab and the right hands have brewster in trouble, his left eye appears to be swelling. brewster cant get inside to land, wlad is doing it all his own way. it looks so far only a matter of time, brewster needs to step up and hurt the body but he is on the end of that jab and th left hook hasnt been used yet,

round 4nad its repetetive as wlad keeps him on the end of the authorative jab, will wlad blow in the 5th? its coming up next, brewster did better that round but he has a swelling on the left eye from the jabs. steward reckons brewster is tiring badly, wlad isnt using the left hook much. steward reckons brewster is done and ready to go.

wlad is dominating still with the jab, brewster has nothing to offer apart from toughness. mcgirt says one more round! wlad is giving him a beating, systematically taking him apart.

wlad 10-9

end may be in sight.

Cheers for the rbr. I'm on nights so no chance of watching it. The PPV you've bought, are you just watching it over a normal broadband connection?

round 6 and the end is imminent, brewster was rocked with jabs and right hands. mcgirt i think is stopping it, he says too many shots it may be finished. brewster falls to his knees of a clinch.

its over brewster is pulled out, the crowd boos vociferously. mcgirt pulls brewster out

yeah brought it on secondsout for 3 quid, the picture isnt the best but it was okay, did the job. the crowd are booing very loud they are not happy. but brewster was being knocked about.

Well, can't say I'm surprised. Wlad had all the advantages last time in the fight before he gassed. With the technical tweaks from steward, Wlad is a lot harder to hit these days and therefore hard to beat.

Referee Sam Williams accepted Buddy McGirt's retirement and it was over, the crowd were booing extremely loud and now its a strange mixture of elated cheers and boos. Anyway regardless of all that Wladimir Klitschko is the best Heavyweight out there without a doubt, as James says Steward has improved him no end.

As for the PPV for £2.97 it did the job i would take it again. The picture was sketchy on full screen and it did have a few glitches during the undercard but i think it was good enough value. Enjoyed all of the bouts tonight.

Apologies it was the commentator who said Ukranian and i jumped on the bandwagon.

They are all singing happy birthday now to Manny Steward, they tried to interview him but it was drowned out by booing, i don't know what all that is about.

Right folks i'm off to bed, Klitschko reaffirmed his status as the best Heavyweight on the planet, hope it's only unifications from here on in. I don't do round by rounds very often but hopefully it gave some insight into the way the fights progressed. Berry Butler V Haxhi Krasniqi was surprisingly fight of the night.
