Gatti 7/2 to stop or KO Gomez: Good Value
Just checked my Ladbrokes Account to see any good offers for this weekends fights and i was instantly surprised by this.
I know Gomez has never been stopped but he is stepping into the ring with someone is levels above the opposition he has been fighting. I think Gatti defenitely has enough smarts to stop Gomez before the middle rounds so i will be defenitely placing a wager on this.
By the way Limond is 8/1 against Khan, who is ridicolously priced at 1/33.

Think Gatti will stop him, but a bit later than that.
I know Gomez hasn't been in with much, but Manfredo is a decent sized Middleweight who can bang and Gomez hang in there for 5 and then 7 rounds.
However, Gomez's stamina isn't that great. I've read reports that he tired badly in that fairly recent draw he had (absolute slugfest) and I do think the reason why Manfredo got the decision the second time was because it was a 7 rounder.
If not completely shot, Gatti TKO 10.

One thing you have to consider is the size factor - Gomez is a middleweight come welter whilst Gatti is a small welter and I doublt he has the pop at welter that he did at superfeather, lightweight and lightwelter. Reckon Gomez could do a Baldy on Gatti but its a toss up in my eyes though I agree that IF Gatti isnt shot he is a class above Gomez. But the thing is I think he is shot.
