Haye v Mormeck on!

While Haye has a chance I think it's early. There are still huge question marks over his stamina and endurance especially cutting weight to 200. I don't think he's just going to level Mormeck with one shot, it will take a concerted effort to stop him IMO. Bonin might have been a heavy but a very very average one, Mormeck is the best Cruiser in the world lets not forget and MUCH better and more durable than anyone Haye has faced. Don't forget how Haye looked against Fragomeni he hardly dominated that easily from the outside now he's going to do that against Mormeck who is bigger and much better?

Durable yes but Mormeck might be affected by Inactivity only fighting once a year and he shouldn't of been troubled by the likes of O'neil Bell.

Theres huge question marks on Mormecks stamina too.

It's tempting to back Haye to land the big bombs early, but it's a leap of faith really, as Mormeck is way beyond anyone DH has met so far.

Mormeck mostly tries to get close and rough you up because he's strong and durable enough to do It. He can out boxed.

You wouldn't see Haye KO'ed by O'Neil Bell either, Mormecks own fault he underestimated him In the 1st fight.

Great fight and hard to pick but I'll go with the Hayemaker. Possibly after touching the canvas himself, Haye stops Mormeck in a barnburner, mid-late rounds after Mormeck has shot his load. He'll need his jab to be working well for this one alright.

He can be outboxed definitely. But Fragomeni was able to get up close and rough Haye up at times and he's nothing like as good at it as Mormeck is.

I'm going for Mormeck to win in the late rounds, Haye to blame it on the weight and move up to Heavy permanently. I hope I'm wrong though.

Yes I'm amazed at how many people are suddently expecting Haye to blow Mormeck away, Mormeck is more durable, harder hitting, and leagues better than Fragomeni, yet Fragomeni was really giving Haye some shit.

Haye it seems is despite my earlier protestations to the contrary, weight draining at cruiserweight, certainly the power he showed with the extra weight against Bonin would suggest that.

However, if Mormeck were to fight Bonin, who would win? Being big doesn't equate to better. A top class cruiserweight can handle a bigger man. Johnny Nelson, not even a puncher at 190, was able to hang in there with massive heavyweights and genuine thunderous punchers, even though he lost, he wasn't stopped by them.

Mormeck doesn't have much stamina. Even fights he's been dominating he fades late. He hammered Braithwaite for 8 rds, then he had to back off for the final 4 and that was his peak performance.

Frago puts less in his shots and was a fit, light hitting bloke if nothing else. That was a fine preparation for this one. Haye could use his reach, control from outside, throw in power shots at his own speed and get the squat, overmuscled slugger.

Hayes got this one in the bag providing he doesnt have problems making weight. his staminas improving all the time and his one punch power is amazing
im in mexico when it happens tho, does anyone think don king will put it on US tv?
