Pray for it to happen
Have you noticed how John Rawling has commentated on the last couple of BBC boxing shows. He's far better than Jim Neilly (you couldn't get worse, surely). Neilly also commentates on rugby, and the fact the rugby world cup is taking place leads me to believe he may be sidelined because of that. But I hope he doesn't come back. No, I pray he doesn't come back.
Not sure why he was sidelined, not sure about the BBC radio commentary on the RWC but they don't usually have Neilly.
I think they'll probably be using Eddie Butler for the Rugby, because he's normally on a BBC Wales Rugby show (Scrum 5), but has been absent during the RWC.
But yes, lets hope they stick to Rawling - but I have a feeling it will be Neilly for the Jones vs Tarver match up, they seem to be rotating.
Duke McKenzie was not at his best last night "Sven Ott" He also didn't mention that Ott was the WBA and IBF champion at Super Middle.

Good post, Stu. Duke was too exciteable. He even said in the last round as Woods was landing some good shots, "this could be the upset of the century!"stujones wrote:Not sure why he was sidelined, not sure about the BBC radio commentary on the RWC but they don't usually have Neilly.

Run that by me again, Duke.
