butterbean vs tony galento(no spamming intended.SERIOUS!!!)
Holy Crap!Just came to mind. That one would be something to see!Nothing but overhand bombs! One thing about Galento. He COULD take a PUNCH!So,i dont know about butterbean being able to flatten em right out with his first overhand bomb, which he does in most of his ko's.Galento did knock Joe Louis down so i would'nt count em out just yet.I lean towards bean but i say,no huge surprise if Two Ton connected and flattened the Big Bean.I'd naturally have to give the edge to bean though.Only cause of the size and reach advantage. 8)

Well,I'm a real human being too.My head and my brain are made out of flesh and blood just like your's Buddy. If you say i'm a shithead it means that you think shit of yourself. It always works that way. You're just trying to pump yourself up and if everyone doesnt think as you do then they dont deserve to breathe you're air right?Yeah,I thought so.You're one of those types and that's great if it works in you're personal life but this is a boxing forum and this is the usa and i have my own mind to make my own forum topics and if you dont like it than take you're badass attitude where you should keep it.Wherever that is and whatever to that. But yeah. I have insight. And I'm gonna speak my mind cause it's fair and square to do so here.So please pretty please, quit having such an angry instigative attitude!Seriously.lighten up!!No ones personally attacking you or anything!!Good God Allmighty!!And Jesus Too!!Decagon wrote:Someone ban this shithead. Decagon speaks for himself as always.
We can't all hate you since I don't hold that particular opinion, and I find your unusual topics....well.....unusual. I tend to find some entertainment in the more eclectic. But this one though mentioned in humor in the past has never been taken seriously due to the mismatch aspect.
I think a trim, svelt Galento would likely just be in too good of shape for the Bean who would "gas" out pretty quick. Galento was prepared for 15 Butterbean for 4 (for the most part).
Uh oh....Did I actually engaged in this topic? I will now have my work cut out for me as I attempt NOT to hate myself.
A brew is always the answer when one is in doubt. I will now make an appointment with Dr Adams.

One problem
I did the math on this matchup and I'm sorry but if those two actually got in the ring at the same time it would throw the earth off it's axis midway throught the second round. Even worse if Tony ko'd Butterbean in the 1st it would make time go backwards and if the reverse happened God would faint.

this has been done to death in this forum...
i like butterbean and all, he's remotely interesting, and i give him some more credit than most give him...but fact is, Galento was one of the more roughest, toughest and down right viscous HW title challengers in history. he may have been a fat man, but his 220-240 would have been a helluva lot more 'conditioned' 300-400+ than Butterbean.
I predict a KO inside of 2 rounds...Galento would have dug out his eye, like he tried to do against Max Baer, would have knocked the bean down and out; if Galento could drop a prime Joe Louis, and Bean got a 'knock down' call in the 10th and final round over a 50+ Larry Holmes...i dont see Butterbean winning.

The Galento-Butterbean question has been the singular focus of the boxing world for so long. I felt it was time to put a definitive end to the speculum...uh er speculation. But as you see people will still harbor doubts and controversy will continue. So I suppose the Galento-Butterbean question will never truly be answered to everyone's satisfaction.
Now, if you please....Pass the pie.
