Ticket prices for Calzaghe fight !!!

Just been online to look at pricing for the Calzaghe-Kessler fight,

The booking fee's are extortinate nevermind the admin fee for every ticket.

Does anyone know anywhere these are available without these fees?

What is a booking fee? You pay someone for the privilege of buying a ticket? When did booking fees become common for any live event?

and why the hell is the booking fee more the higher the ticket price. Like it costs more to book a pricier ticket!

I think I payed something like £6 per ticket booking fee for Hatton v Tsyzu - I had 12 tickets I think so it was over £70 in booking fees - the dirty, robbin b@stard!

I would hope that Calzaghe v Kessler would have tickets starting at £25 each - that would make it equitable with UFC shows, which are ten fights deep and quality maych ups from top to bottom.

Wait till Ticketmaster to have it up. Seetickets are crap. You don't even get an idea of where you are with those tickets.
Another option is to buy the tickets off ebay a week before the fight. Because it is such a big place you'e likely to get them below face value. £50 tickets for the Manfredo fight were going for half price a few days before the fight.

And last time he didnt have the big screens working. It was like watching 2 borrowers having a scrap... even worse after a few beers too.

It is shocking, I refuse to pay a booking fee, they should just add it to the price of the ticket and be doen with it. Tickets are quite pricey for this one, I waited for the O2 fights, and got an £75 ticket off ebay for around £35, screw the paying a booking fee!

I think the face value of the Hatton v Tszyu tickets I got was £75 each and they were the second to cheapest!

Yeah I happened to be in Wales for the Manfredy "fight" - I checked prices, thinking I may as well, and they were way over the top - unbelievable really.

Good idea to check ebay for awhile...see what comes up. Even the top price quoted here wont be actual ring side though, it'll likely be outside "ringside".

The inner part is for press, family, friends etc...plus a special seat reserved for FW's new best mate Ricky Hatton of course!

Ticketmaster invented the over the top booking fee. I think all ticket agents charge 10% of face value these days.

Who in their right mind would consider paying for a ticket now when
1/ They won't even have been printed yet.
2/ There's still time for the fight to go tits up - injuries etc.
3/ The undercard needs to be published to gauge if it's value for money.

All in all I think they have got those price bands spot on and will get a lucrative return. Booking fees, though, aren't even stealthy anymore and are far too high in general.

I bought tickets for Hatton/Phillips and for two £75 tickets, still paid £1.50 per ticket.
