The weekend ahead....
The weekend ahead....
Is anyone as excited as me?
We spend a lot of time bitching on here about, among other things, the lack of Boxing on TV and the quality of matches being made.
According to the schedules:
Friday 10pm - Sky Sports 1
Carl Johanneson v Leva Kirakosyan
Euro Super Featherweight
Saturday 8pm - Midnight - ITV1 and ITV4
The O2 centre bill - Cook, Khan, Mitchell, Price, Small, Skelton, Sprott, Marsh, Earl (is he fighting?) and Foster.
One World Title, 3 Commonwealths and an intercontinantal
Saturday 2pm - Sky Sports 1
Margarito v Williams
World Welterweight
and an undercard including Andre Ward and Chris Arreola
Gatti v Gomez
Cintron v Matthyse
World Welterweight
Margarito v Williams and Cook v Luevano are the ones I'm looking forward to with most anticipation.
May have to pack the wife off to her mates with a couple of Blue Nuns!
I can't bloody wait!

I know how you feel. Want to watch the Margarito and Gatti fights, but all the screenings clash with my girlfriend's plans. But I'll be watching Sky tonight and attending the 02 show, so 2 out of 3 ain't bad,Ian 'Mr' McNeilly wrote:And some say boxing is dead?
I'm off to Barnsley tonight, boxing on TV Saturday night, Sunday repeats...divorce court Monday no doubt.

Postcard will be on its way asap Ian :)
I'll be thinking of you all, might even send you a photo of the women poolside . ...Wales is guaranteed one
Anyway, I fancy Sprott, Khan and Pryce to all do a job....
And Gatti to overcome Gomez in a good fight, but one that will show us he's had his day.....if people didn't already think that!

Yes. But then my track record on underdogs is patchy.Wales wrote:Anyone think henshaw has a sneaky chance of nicking something?
If Hamshaw goes for it with concerted pressure and puts Jones under fire, the old man may wilt. He's not elusive any more and his desire to take shots isn't that high either.
