Hopkins on points, better technique and has the defence, chin and toughness to deal with McClellan. Not many do

Bernard...

I'd go with Hopkins, if he's at his best, which is in his 30's. McClellan never faced someone with that kind of defensive ability, and he would be there to hit for Hopkins. It would go the distance, but Hopkins by decision.

Hopkins fairly easily. McClellan was a formidable fighter for 6 rounds but if he didn't get the job done or do enough damage he would be in trouble.
