Scott Harrison declared bankrupt

Harrison is an alcoholic yes. But seemingly he's an absolute arsehole to boot. Not a nice combination. No sympathy for him I'm afraid, he's had help but threw it back in peoples faces.

Well, I've heard from some local lads that when they were doing roadwork in the area he would recognise there A.B.A tracksuits and always stop and chat etc.

He actually done loads of charity work too but made a point of keeping it from the public in order to avoid looking like an attention seeker.

As I said, he is not a well man and his actions reflect his illness but I truly hope he gets better and whilst he's in the public eye thats not going to be easy. He doesnt need the jail, he needs proper help.

Good point, Kerminator - always good to hear this side rather than always being judgmental.

Thing is though, I do think plenty of people had sympathy with and respect for Scott when he had certain troubles. But 'The Lord helps those who help themselves' or, as another poster put it, he has often seemed 'an arsehole to boot'.

It's bloody sad, either way.

Can't agree unless you mean aesthetically. In terms of substance, Harrison was the antithesis of Audley, even when it came to match-making learning fights.

I have a growing respect for Harrison fcuking it all off, and Warren exploiting it all. Even the posters who don't post here much any more. It just ain't worth the time.

Sorry but Harrison just comes across as a divvy, a divvy with a drink problem and a divvy who is trained to punch properly..

True, but I meant that making your nickname off another fighter is odd.

Nothing wrong with a dollop of hubris, reason is the thing that does you up like a kipper, Scott is the obvious exception

'Harrison' is becoming the tragic moniker, first Aud now Scott, we'll have to call them Rex but 'Harrison Rex' sounds like a matinee star from the 1950's.
