Hmm Mutley v Lynes. Doesn't really have the same appeal does it. Oh well saves me trying to find a pub/Sky dish in Devon next Friday night.

He was never really that enthused with the idea of a Muttley fight. Rightly or not, he has designs on the world stage and probably doesn't feel he can get up for this one. Still, the Euro title has a lot of gravitas on the world scene and would have been well worth holding on to.

That's interesting Oliver i never knew that. He couldn't get up for Muttley? I saw it as a genuine 50/50 fight. If Bami struggled with Lauri no matter whether motivation or not i doubt he could cut it on the world scene. And yes it made sound business sense to keep hold of the European which holds sway with the WBC and other organisations. Better than having no title and no bargaining power anyway.

Muttley-Lynes for the European title doesn't excite me really, in fact fair play for his win over Morrison but nothing involving Colin Lynes really excites me. I'm not enthused or amused 8)

I on the other hand think this will be a good fight and I am am looking forward to it - Lynes for me but Muttley can bang and if he catches Lynes it could all be over.
