Luevano v Cook

Great effort by Cook, he just wasn't at the races from the off. Could it be down to weightmaking? Luevano looked pretty handy granted, but Cook had no snap in his work from the get go and looked horrendously drained at the weigh-in. Got to take my hat off to Cook for keeping going there when his tank was on empty.

I thought Luevano looked very good. I see Matthews is ranked by WBO, do you think he would fight Luevano

Good fight that was & Cook showed a big heart. I do believe that his corner should have pulled him out earlier.

Yes he took a bit of a beating towards the end. I think he move up to super feather now.

He looked clueless against a southpaw, We`ve seen so many guys with that weight over the backleg pawing jab style come over here and take our top guys apart. As soon as the fight started I just thought "Here we go again"

Didn't anyone teach Cook what to do against a southpaw? He was completely flat-footed and only started moving and throwing the right after about 6 rounds.

Luevano reminded me a little of Molitor in the way he was relaxed and timed his counters nicely. I doubt he'll stay champion for long, but he was definitely a class above Cook last night.

agree wif thaibox, but cook looked ordinary coz that wot he is,a whole load of brit boxers hav been hyped up over here,then when someone wif class comes over they get xposed,hatton,calazaghe,frock,haye and woods r world class but they've been protected as well,when they meet a genuine world class fighter in his prime they'll lose 2, and i'm a hatton fan.

ps. cook showed heart,bit like gatti ,felt 4 them.
