A2P website A2P No Mas?

A2P and USA Boxing came to an "exit" agreement a couple of months ago. Personally, I didn't see anything wrong with King's dream to resurrect amateur boxing in the U.S. Yes, on down the line, there would have been an option for a boxer going pro to sign with A2 - but that was years away. King has the marketing clout and the contacts to have made a difference, plus the monies he was giving the organization. Now, once again, USAB is broke and has nothing going in the way of PR or marketing. Just my point of view.

Michael King and/or A2P could have stayed involved and cherry picked boxers from various parts of the country because of King's wealth. He still could have had a big impact on amateur and pro boxing, but his ego got in the way. He wanted it all or nothing.

Sorry, Dennis - we're going to have to agree to disagree on this one. I have a much different point of view regarding King and A2P.
