LYNES/MUTLEY

This looks a good fight for me and really looking forward to it. Worry about Mutley making the weight strong but Tom says he does so have to respect that opinion. If he does I think he can beat Lynes by stoppage around 8. Lynes must be full of confidence though after the Morrison win and whilst I expect Mutley to cut him down spacewise a lot better, if he is weak at the weight could be quite a struggle.

ARTHUR/GOGOLADZE

Arthur has too much for me over the Georgian. Have watched tapes of the visitor and whilst he has skills I do question his chin a bit and also his appetite for a competitive fight. I may be doing him a disservice but thats the way I see it from 6 hours of tapes. He has good skills in his jab and combinations, plus reasonable pop of that there is no doubt. He has fast hands and moves very well and fairly constantly but he is not the hardest to hit once he slows. Alex breaks him up slowly after a dodgy first couple for rounds. Arthur ko7-9

MACCARINELLI/BRAITHWAITE

Looking forward to this also. Big Truck has the power to trouble Enzo I feel but its a case of how much has he left and what stomach for a battle does he have if it starts being one way traffic behind Mac's jab. Still find this of great interest, Braithwaite is still one of the leading lights in reality and if he had not had his arse handed to him by Jones, this fight would probably not have happened as he would be right in the mix somewhere else. Macca KO 4-6

M'BAYE/REES

M'Baye surely has too many skills for Rees but he is another who blows hot and cold, if Rees unsettles him and uses some dubious tactics from time to time it would not be impossible, however, unlikely that he could make this very close. Still that having been said can't see past the Frenchman and think late stoppage or wide points sees him keep the title warm for Kotelnik who surely beats him next time.

Just a few thoughts interested to hear what you guys think

I know what you mean I was at the 02 on Sat then home sunday for 2 hours more of the three us fights.

Still thought strike whilst the iron was hot - burn out not allowed!

Digreesing slightly here, but it looks as though Guzman is sticking at 130 to fight Soto. Assuming Guzman's WBO title will be on the line, this has an obvious knock-on effect for Arthur, who I'd expect to beat Gogladze faily comfortably. Whilst I have no doubt that the WBO would not force Arthur to fight the champion immediately, and vice versa, Arthur nevertheless can't go about being the WBO interim champion for the rest of his career. Would Warren deal on a fight with Guzman? Similarly Guzman would seem to be after bigger things than a fight with Arthur. Maybe a gentleman's agreement for Guzman to vacate? Or perhaps a change of tact and Arthur goes for Fana, with claims that getting a terms of a fight with Guzman (or whoever holds it) is nigh-on impossible?

I think Arthur has some appeal to Guzman, a chinny unproven 28 year old who carries his nose in the air.

Decent payday too?

Guzman has options but easy money is easy money.
