Bit different to your first post on this thread, your figure of 7500 is probably a 1000 too much but lets not be pedantic over a thousand here and there.
All have sold plenty of tickets in the past, yet only just over 6,000 people in the venue for what was some individuals biggest ever fights.
These guys attract fans who are only really interested in them plus maybe the main event. Hence each boxer was well supported in "pockets" through their fights, but the arena was otherwise sparsely populated.
It was a shit crowd for the "future of British boxing"
Khan attracting 6000-7000 for a Commonwealth title fight against someone he was 20-1 odds on to beat is very respectable. Competitive world title fights routinely draw less than that.
