Some are of the opinion Greeny should've saved money and got Fijian Birbal Junior instead.

Greeny's initial opponent was Braimah Kamoko, but Team Green pulled the plug on him...I wonder why?

I'm assuming Birbal Junior is a joke! I think Griffin seemed better credentialled than Kamoko, whose average quality of opposition is awful. Still, a little disappointing the fight did not last longer, but it seemed to me after the 1st round that Green had the measure of him.

Green had the measure of him when they signed the contract.

Yeah Griffin didn't fair to well last night, he was (on paper) a pretty credible opponent but the way he went out was weak... Thats two in a row now for Danny.

I would LOVE to see Woods go out as softly as that!!! :P

I think your user name should read "GM #2". Mundine established he's #1 a good time ago.

Thought Green looked extremly strong and was far more aggressive then I've seen him for a while. For too long now Green has tried to transform himself into a quality boxer, but he is not a boxer he's a fighter, a brawler.

It was an impressive performance for Danny.

It was a good result for Danny, not sure we can say too much about the performance... It was good to see Danny push the action in the third but I would have much prefered a devestating KO instead of three soft knockdowns to end the fight, or six+ rounds of sustained pressure...

That is not to take anything away from Green he did what he could and he did it pretty well, but I bet after the soft way Murdoch went out he would have liked more from Griffin...

I still think it was his best performance since turning to LH

I don't know whether Green has ever really had damaging KO power, he wears you down with constant pressure and solid power. I don't think Green could have been better.

I'm not a Green fan, but it was his best performance since the opening two rounds of the first Beyer fight

Sadly, I am from Slovakia and a huge Danny fan, but unfortunately did not see the fight...maybe somebody will post it on youtube...do you have any clue if it is somewhere on the net?
Danny won t stop until a big fight with big names...i d like to see also a match Danny vs Zsolt erdei in hungary so i could see the match live...also stipe drews is a fairly easy opponent...But Danny would crush Clinton woods or AT...

That is certainly how it looked in the fight, he did not seem to want to be there, I had read that he had good hand speed and head movement, and there was even a comparison to Mundine in termsof hand speed so I must say I was very disapointed in his lack of effort. Green had fatser hands!

I hope they reply the fight or post it on youtube.com. O.G. must have been jetgassed because he has worked hard to get to that point. When I read it on fightnews.com sound like he just got caught by a Joe Fraiser like hook. I thought the fight would have at least went 6-7 rounds :-?
