Kevin Buckley reutrns tomorrow night!!

Post by thepocketrocket »

Boxing News hot propect Kevin Buckley returns tomorrow night against Tony McQuade, a man with a far better record than his first Two sceduled opponents...

Expect an explosive fight I say, the man is focused and nasty and I imagine he will be appearing on SKY!!

I've seen both of his pro bouts and he is a good little prospect. Pete Buckley told me that he is the best he's fought since Rob Hunt, also on the bill. Shaun 'Slasher' Walton rated him too.

I doubt he will be on Sky, however, especially as there is Mutley-Lynes, Macklin, Bendall, Elwell on the card.

Depends how intersting the Ellwell and Bendall fights are, a good performance could scrape him on to the show...

But should be good, hes becoming big news in Chester who havnt had a hometown hero since Roman days!! :D

What level champ do you think? He was alright, but not really spectacular.... He looks British title level in the future, but not sure if he is more to be honest. Having said that, I am struggling to see any spectacular prospects globally at the moment. .

Andre Berto and Rey Bautista seem to be getting more of the plaudits... but I see more of a Jeff Lacy reign tha a Roy Jones. I'm not convinced on either.

With Khan looking a bit dodgy, I think Abner Mares stands head and shoulders above anybody as the finest prospect in World boxing.

I aint gonna come on here and declare a 3 fight novice to be the saviour of Boxing, I was just massivly impressed..

I see him at least reaching British level(unless there are some serious flaws not explored yet)

And stylistically he will get a lot of fans methinks...
