First of all - BoxRec is not killing the boxing business, all of the people who have submitted phony records and who continue to try to do so are. I don't know you and I'm not saying you are but you are probably aware that Africa doesn't have a sparkling record when it comes to their boxing records.

No records - African, Thai or where ever, should ever be input into BoxRec without proper verification. Proper verification means being able to trust a commission (from what I understand there are problems with many of the African commissions) and a manager or promoter is not a good source of information as they have a vested interest in seeing their fighter have a good record. I believe this is why alot of African records go un-entered into not only BoxRec buy Fight Fax as well. If you can't prove a fight took place - it doesn't get entered. It's only right after all, this site has the ability to change boxing history both past and present. I'm sure you understand.
