I know what you mea, but its all relative.
Compared with the fat welter Bobby Gunn, who claimed to be some reincarnation of a bare fist fighting Jack Dempsey or some such nonsence, its a great fight!
I believe Macca has made technical improvements. He'll use his power sensibly to win on his own terms. He's a much bigger bloke and IMO he'll outgun him a bit.
But if Enzo's going to get found out, he will on Sat.
Think Macca has matured thanks to those good learning fights v Hobson and Dominguez to not leave his chin out to dry quite as badly as he used to but I think this could be a bit like Khan v Limond, with Macca having to come through some rough patches, maybe off the floor, before the wheels come off Big Truck in about five or six action-packed stanzas.
I think Mac's going to crush Braithwaite. I know he was fighting a less than nobody in Gunn, but he looked very compose,d very solid and too good for such ridiculous mismatches.
Braithwaite has always been temperamental. He seldom has a plan - he normally just improvises. Of course, I'm making a case for Mac, not an excuse for Braithwaite.
If the Welshman wins, he should go for Adamek next. Good risk/reward ratio and another action fight.
With Haye moving up eventually, Macca could be The Man at 200, you never know. There's a lot of tough guys in the division, but little class.
I think this is going to be a shootout type of fight, Braithwaite likes to get in front of his opponent and throw bombs, he also does a bit of switch hitting, i wouldn't be surprised if he tries fighting southpaw somewhen in the 1st round to try and confuse Macca.
Braithwaite couldn't get out of the way of the right hands when he fought Guillermo Jones , and i think this is the key punch for Macca. he needs to take it steady in the 1st, then come on in the 2nd or 3rd rounds.
I can see this settling into a bit of a gruelling contest with Macca getting his hand raised around the 9th
Yes this should be a real shootout, the type of fight that could get a casual ITV viewer hooked. Two of the divisions biggest punchers & both vunerable to a big shot too. Anything can happen.
You have to lean to Enzo, as he's the man on a roll, and the truck is coming off a bad KO loss. But he could be one of those up & down type of fighters that quickly forgets his losses and looks to turn things around fast.
He'll no doubt be aware that Mac has a suspect chin, and with his type of power he probably needs just one good shot. Hardest puncher Enzo has faced in his career.

What colours will he be turning this time, as his prized fighter with delicate chin steps in with someone who can actualy punch. Hard.
Should be a good one, don't think there's any way it can't....
I'm gonna have £50 on wayne in each round 1, 2 ,3 & 4

In Enzo's favour, Braithwaite was very slow out of the blocks against Guillermo Jones and hurt early. He rallied well, then got nailed again and the referee jumped in, somewhat prematurely, to stop the fight in the fourth.
Braithwaite isn't shot though and Jones was in good form. And, lest we forget, the former "light-middle" did outpoint Johnny Nelson only to not get the decision.
This is actually a fight in which the opponent is possibly better than his reputation. Its been long forgotton than Braithwaite did start the betting favourite vs Mormeck... He was seen as a long time champion in the making.
This is very dangerous, unless Braithwaite is shot... but at 31 he surely isn't, but he is a 10 year pro.
Any idea if his last fight was televised... on the Dawson vs Adameck bill.
In some ways its a pitty that Mormeck vs Haye is on, cause it is over shadowing this match. Rightfully so, the undeniable #1 at the peak of his powers in his homeland is quite an ask - but Mac vs Braithwaite is an excellent fight in its own right.
If both are victorious there will be big claims that we have the #1 and #2 Cruiserweight in the world.

I only remember Showtime broadcasting the Diaz-Chavez fight for the undercard, don't believe they aired the Spinks-Jones snoozer either so no time for Big Truck.
Enzo to win by mid round stoppage in action packed fight. Glad to see ITV have been advertising this one well.
I don't think Wayne is shot, and for him to be at long odds early on seems a bit to good not to have a bet. I'm not in K.O Artists betting league though.

31 can be very old.
John Mugabi was very shot at 30.

Was he, or was he just blown out by two big punchers in Norris and especially McClellan.
No-one was saying he was shot when he won his single world title the year before and when he was going through that impressive run of 1st round KO's himself.

Yeah he was shot Stu, never the same after that war with Hagler. I saw him against the GMan in London and he looked like a ghost on his way to the ring, his legs looked unsteady even before he climbed through the ropes.

wasn't Mugabi's light middle title win a strange one. cut short by an ankle injury or something?
