Mbaye did lose to Harris after all, and you couldn't really split the Kotelnik fight. But I think this one is all about Rees being an awkward little fooker to fight. It's not like we've seen him beaten before either.

Of course! Could it be i have my answer?

What's the betting that the fight becomes due for the event after Khan's current ITV deal expires?

Witter beats Rees and that makes him 'the man' at Light Welter??? :D
I think Witter has looked shit since the second half of his fight with N'Dou. Rees could outwork him. People talk about Witter's power but he's never shown it against anyone decent since the first 5 against N'Dou. :TU:

Ress looks almost finished here I hope he can last this last 3 minutes. M'Baye doesn't deserve anything here.

I dont know about awkward.... he is busy, right in front of you... he is a poor mans Hatton, and will lose to Hatton for that reason - he will lose to anyone who can jab, i.e Lynes upwards

M'Baye has been pitiful tonight. I hate to ever suggest a fix but there has to be some reason to explain how awful he's been. In saying that he looked pretty bad against Kotelnick as well.

No chance. Rees has chinned people at funerals so the judges know he isn't to be messed with.

Well done Gavin and the corner, right plan, executed well.

First and last MC job for Mark Burdis? He is shocking.

Bit obvious who had won there as he was reading the losing score first and then the winning score second i.e. the champ hadn't won. Not that there was much suspense at the end but still not great work there by the MC.

Fair play to Rees he boxed well but M'Baye was shit tonight.

There are probably a ton of guys who Rees couldn't beat, but not many in Britain could have beaten Mbaye IMO.

Can't see him beating Kotelnik, but he was excellent tonight, as was Enzo. Well deserved his win. I bet no one thought there'd be another "proper" British world champion at the end of tonight...

I don't know about that. The Mbaye of tonight was very poor and clueless.

But let's not take away from Rees' moment.

3 British world champions in the same division.

3 world champions from Wales at the same time.

Unheard of!

Upset of the year?

Arthur's a slow starter sometimes but he was great after round 3.

Lets hope Enzo can beat Braithwaite, would be a brilliant night for British boxing if he does.
