Franky Boy Warren

People dislike him, but for bringing on fighters, he's as good as Bruce Trampler from Top Rank...

Agree or disagree?

I also like the way he speaks his mind about anyone, including his own fighters...

If only he didn't object to people speaking their mind about him...

Fair play, 2 super shows on consecutive weeks.

If only that became more the norm I could forgive Franke for all that's gone before and learn to love him....

"Speaking his mind" usually involves slagging off any boxers who are not signed to him (he's spilled a lot of ink over David Haye, Audley Harrison and Carl Froch in particular).

He's very good at developing fighters. But it can be tedious watching it. It can't be easy getting a compromise between developing fighters, making them attractions AND putting on watchable fights.

I mean, what worth is Calzaghe-Ashira as a main event?

Calling Frank the best in Britain is a bit of an insult to him really.

I mean, who else is there?

Hobson, Hennessy, Waterman? All three had contracts with SKY and BBC and fucked it up. These blokes are not good promoters. Some of em know nothing about boxing.

Warren is one of the best promoters in the world.

British boxing is on top because of him
