Not too sharp from what I have been reading, thats why I am not going. Question for Mel , why doesn't the USA host more International Tournaments HERE. When I trained in Europe, they were going on all the time, like a World Cup, I know they have the Duals here, but is it really that hard, would be good for boxers who havent trained in Europe here to learn. :o

So who is the_boxer? Is it Dominique or is it Leandre?

The competition at Ringside is OK, but many of the top tier guys do not attend. You will get some experience and probably a belt too so go ahead and win it.

Hosting an international tournament costs big bucks. First of all, you have to find the time to do it around all the other USA Boxing national events. Then you have to find someone who is willing to host it and put up the bid monies (includes free ground transportation at the location, X number of comped rooms and meals). Then you have to get countries to commit to attending - all of which needs to be done at least a year or more in advance - and that's just for starters.

The only other Kronk guy I know that could possibly compete at 152 open would be J'Leon if he moved down a weight class. J'Leon is that you?

Good luck in Kansas City.

Im not sure if hes going they havent made up there mind yet, but Robbie Burwell my sparring partner and trainer MIGHT go. Hes for sure going to the Pal coming up. Im not saying you'll loose to him i dont know who you are but hell give any open amateur at 152 a challenge.

Ill be fighting 152 in the Pal hopefully but just as a JO, im only sixteen.
