How to caculate in wingspan in reach?

I would like to know why do u change the reach in wingspan like for example Sonny Liston's reach is 33" but both of his reaches is 84"? I don't have any idea why do u change the format in every fighters' reaches from Sonny Liston's 84 into 33. I just don't get it.

Reach also depends how one measures it.
In OZ it’s finger tip to finger tip (at the back), which is in most case is the same as their height.
Personally, in boxing, I think it amounts to bullshit.

Not so in horse racing. Horse with longer legs would have an advantage, as would swimmers with long arms.

Measuring arm length is next to useless, boxers don't stand square on, they pivot. A boxer with 1 inch arm length advantage but 3 inch shoulder disadvantage is at a REACH disadvantage.

Only yesterday I made an excellent little graphic to illustrate reach :-)

Okay I want to ask u something how did u caculate from 33 inches = 84 inches in reach of the wingspan that includes through one arm length through both shoulders to the other arm? I would please like to know how do u caculate from 33 inches into 84 inches?

It's a unit problem someone entered 84 inches which has been converted to 33 cm (85 / 2.54 = 33)
