hitman_hatton1... Witter was completely respectful in regards to Hatton,
He was asked his opinion and answered.
Most people World-Wide would agree that Hatton or any other fighter in the World would get bashed up by Mayweather.
Why do you feel the need to slag Witter, he is doing a good job representing UK boxing.
Witter has always faced all comers, never avoided anyone.
I give the man credit, you should too

Pity Hatton can't say the same. There's no excuse for Hattons 7 year avoidance of Junior Witter, Hatton and Graham don't like the style match-up IMO and have and will do everything to avoid Junior and deprive the UK fans of the BIGGEST clash out thereBox Office wrote:Witter has always faced all comers, never avoided anyone.

Hatton has to put everything on the line to fight Junior and IMO hes bottled it BIG style. If he fights and loses to a PBF/Cotto/DLH, everybody says oh well it took a great to beat him and Rciky had to move from his natural weight to make the fight, where as he is excuseless if Witter beats him.
The Hatton-Witter saga annoys me more than anything else in Boxing

Post Judah the fight couldnt happen cos Showtime just would go for it, Witter had stunk the place out, he spent 4 yrs rebuilding...You have to realise that at the time it WAS feasable Witter had left Warren, why would Frank want to give him a payday??
Plus, as Ricky says, he enjoys watching Witter fighting nobodys, nasty yet very funny, Witter brings no fans, no excitement and no USTV to the table??
See you on November 10th!!

Not 100 per cent yet but its going to be over six-threes. Dean said there have been a few names mentioned – Ali Wyatt being one that keeps popping up.steve689 wrote:Who is Dean boxing on that card Tom?Podmore_Birmingham wrote:I am. Witter's prior fights aside this one should really be a good test for Witter. If he is overrated and/or his reflexes are gone it could be a win for Harris but if Harris is overrated and/or the Maussa fight showed this a little in his attitude Witter could get a big win.
Given his long arms and 1-2 then work off that style I think Harris will provide an interesting test.
A win for Witter and I will be the first to hold my hands-up and say "well done" but with that said I think Hatton is onto bigger and better fights at this stage. At one point I think it was poor for them not to be fighting and I blamed Hatton but you have to give Hatton credit, he moved on from Witter a fair few years ago.
Max, I cannot for the life of me fathom your first sentence. I hear you about the poverty one though
I'm really looking forward to this 1 and I think it is a very intriguing match up and a genuine 50-50 between 2 genuine world class fighters and the sort of fight that I'm lucky is local to me. From my perspective its good Witters not famous and popular because of this was in Las Vegas I wouldn't be seeing it. I don't think either are overated although both have faults.
Harris is pretty good inside aswell as outside with his fast 1-2 and his defense is tight. HARRIS IS ALSO MASSIVE - 5'11 and a huge reach and a huge Puncher - maybe bigger than Tyszu going by common opponents. His weakness seems to be stamina, concentration, ring smarts and keeping distance effectively.
I won't talk about a Hatton fight as it seems very unlikely, if it happens great. Witter can have a good career without Hatton - if he gets Harris, Cassamoya, Juan Diaz, Mallignaggi, DHOPS, Holt, Rees, Castillo, Amir Khan he will make some serious money and build a very good legacy. Maybe he could even entice Cotto into a fight.
Whos Golden Boy Sid?

as for castillo ricky broke three of his fecking ribs wouldnt have mattered when they fought if he connected with that punch goodnight.
now please be consistent.
SOME shot fighters still win, depends who they are fighting.
Hatton did NOT break his ribs, stop listening to ITV. They said that for effect.
Castillo was way past his best. Only 2 fighters Hatton fought who were any good and at theior peak were Urango and he was not really good) and Collazo.
Hatton is overrated.
Witter KO5

you predcited Kostya a shot fighter in your opinion would KO hatton in 3 then back track so thats how much your predictions count for my friend.
Stick by your guns when you make a prediction mate, its comes accross far more honourable than this b.s.

This is why another reason why Hatton wont fight Witter..the lack of recognition by Witter and his fans for what Hatton has done..
Hatton had a choice...1) Fight Witter to shut him up or 2) Wish Witter well in his forthcoming defence in front of 2000 people...
All these guys who back against Hatton then make excuses when he wins are beneath contempt(in Boxing terms, no judgment on their real character)
Whats next, Hatton beats Mayweather, Mayweather then becomes 'disinterested' due to his retirement..
I give up
