I don't know what the hell I thought I was watching before but up until the Luke Simpkin fight I hadn't been impressed in the slightest by young Greenberg, then all of a sudden he's leaping out of the tv screen at me!
Only trouble is I keep forgetting about him, don't know why because along with Kevin Mitchell he's just about the most naturally talented boxer in Britain at the moment.

I get the impression his promoters are liking to keep him in the shadows.
I remember reading somewhere he has a number of fights in a short time and then goes back to training for a while.
He is so young though there is no need to rush him, but a decent test would be good for him by the end of the next year somebody like Francis say, but I would reckon Greenbergs superior hand and footspeed we make him an easy winner. But then again at least with Julius we will see how Greenberg responds to getting hit.

ANGELO DUNDEE has been revered for 50 years as one of the all-time great trainers wherever boxing takes place.
His name is associated with so many illustrious world champions, led by the peerless duo Muhammad Ali and Sugar Ray Leonard.
It isn’t an exaggeration to suggest that, without Dundee’s motivating genius as a cornerman, Ali and Leonard would never have achieved such heights.
Dundee, at 82, is still as sprightly and chirpy as ever and every day he can be found coaching young men at a Miami gym.
Because his knowledge is unsurpassed, promoters and managers around the world are constantly calling to get their cards marked.
When it comes to a boxer’s potential, Dundee’s opinion carries considerable weight.
And, when Angelo announces he is mightily impressed, it is time to sit up and take notice.
Roman Greenberg, an up and coming youngster based in Maidenhead, recently starred in front of Dundee.
Angelo’s immediate reaction was: “He’s a natural athlete — heavy handed and the fastest big guy I’ve seen since Ali.”
Dundee has been in the business too long to make a fool of himself with outlandish statements.
He is not predicting Greenberg as a future heavyweight champion of the world.
What he is saying is this boy is worth watching as he tries to claw his way to the top.
Greenberg is certainly one of the more interesting and colourful characters to have landed on our shores.
For a start, you don’t expect nice Jewish boys these days to become professional heavyweights.
Roman, only 21, was born in Russia but his family emigrated from Moscow to Israel when he was six.
The Greenbergs had it far from easy when they arrived in their adopted country.
As a result of a document mix-up, they had no home to go to and were forced to live rough on the streets for several weeks.
It was a tough introduction to a new life for a child and not something Roman will ever forget.
He was persuaded by a friend to take up boxing and found he had a natural talent for the sport.
Greenberg won a world silver medal in Budapest and, although it was his dream to go to the Sydney Olympics, he couldn’t afford to stay amateur.
That’s when London promoter Robert Waterman stepped in.
Waterman, on his frequent trips to Haifa, had long admired Greenberg’s skills.
So, when Waterman invited Greenberg to come to England to turn pro, he leapt at the opportunity.
Though still a baby, it’s obvious Roman has enormous potential and, in two years, he has won all of his 13 fights — 10 of them inside the distance.
He is extremely quick on his feet for someone who weighs 16st-plus and also has very fast hands.
Greenberg has made such good progress he tops the bill for the first time at London’s Hilton Hotel on November 26.
Sensibly, Waterman has no intention of rushing the handsome Israeli but expects him to fight for the European title by the end of next year.
Roman, who speaks fluent English, Russian, German and Hebrew, proudly wears the Star of David on his shorts and could become the first Jewish world heavyweight champion.
For many years the Jewish community always believed Max Baer, who also wore the Star of David, was the first — but it was a myth.
Trainer Ray Arcel gave the game away when he revealed: “He ain’t no Jew. I seen him in the shower.”

To answer Real Deal's question. I think he has the ability to be pushed now and staying around at this level for too long will only make the eventual jump harder. So, if I was his manager I would probably start making in roads towards the domestic top 15-10 (the likes of Ellis, McDermmott and Holden). However, he's still a baby so I expect him to fight at this level for a bit longer.
