Grant wrote:yep 21 seems like the right spot. I heard he made a million dollars from the Shane Mosley fight. Why do you think that he still fights?

If he could afford it I would love to read about him in 20 years time having settled down and taking it easy, but somehow..................
Whatever he made from the Mosely fight he spent on a fairly well publicised cocaine habit

Not a bad idea but I'm not sure if there are really enough fighters / fights between our top guys to make it worth while...

Perhaps a p4p list more like the one sock runs on the current scene would be better?

I assume you are putting your hand up to run it... :)

I think a lot of you must of been smoking re-jigging your lists and dropping Vic Darchinyan down to three.

He is easily our best p4p fighter. I cant believe this bullshit where the guy loses one fight and justs gets written off by just about everyone.

Anyone that Mundine fights of any quality he loses to, and Katsidis although he is tough, will get KO'd against quality opposition. The philipino that he last fought was ranked over 50 in the world and was hitting Katsidis constantly! I see that certain individuals are calling out Manny Pacquio for Katsidis!!! PLEASE!!!

Vic Darchinyan is the undisputed P4P australian fighter, I think he will show the world this in his next few fights.

Mate I think Vic is good and he will bounce back but with all due respect it won't be hard to look good against a bloke Hussy Hussien stopped in three rounds a few years ago... Vic still needs a big fight.

BoxRec's P4P - Australia with some (?):

1 Anthony Mundine 826
2 Vic Darchinyan 685 (Armenia?)
3 Danny Green 551
4 Michael Katsidis 530
5 Sakio Bika 524 (Cameroon?)
6 Paul Briggs 517
7 Daniel Geale 420
8 Daniel Dawson 338
9 Kali Meehan 314
10 Hussein Hussein 310

Meehan not in your lists?

Thanks for running that computerrank.

It's not far off how I'd have it now. I probably wouldn't have Maheen or Hussy Hussien though...

Although he is long past his best and his decision to continue fighting is somewhat strange I still believe if people are going to consider Big Bob then Taylor must be in the mix somewhere.
I put him in at 21, I will go through my list as i only took 15 minutes to do it and relist them.
i would hav ben crampton in front of taylor, maybe that match up will happen soon, thats the word

I am a huge Soliman fan but he hasn't beaten anyone lately, the same can be said for St Clair, Hussy is past it and the other aren't ready yet...
