Cheap tickets for young uns

I notice that for Impact Boxing's next show in late September they are offering concession tickets for under-14s at £10 a pop.

You know what, I was just thinking that yesterday. Football clubs routinely have concession prices for youths and pensioners, so it would be a great idea for boxing shows to offer it too, especially at the top end. I mean, how many under-16s or over-60s can regularly splash out £40 for a ticket?

Aye, I'm not advising setting up playpens next to the ringcard girls...but if I'd have wanted to go an see a show when I was a nipper, full price would have meant I couldn't.

Gotta be a good thing this, need to do something to attract the next generation. It's like a day out at the old people's home these days at boxing shows.

Also might have the side effect of encouraging a respect for violence, if that makes sense
